"Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents, which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant."

Housekeeping issues: grades, records, and classroom management concerns are VERY important. They can break an otherwise highly successful career, result in lawsuits and cost your college state funding. Record keeping and related classroom management concerns are often considered the drudgery work of teaching. We avoid thinking about them. We leave those pesky reports until the last minute, or forget to turn them in at all. Don't do this to your college or your reputation.

Let 4faculty help you ease the management of records, the classroom and crises. Like all aspects of teaching, preparation can be everything. Think carefully about these topics, plan appropriately, and you will likely wonder how anyone could have any trouble with such issues.

This module contains the following main readings:

  1. Vital Record Keeping
  2. Classroom Management
